You can’t not not communicate, especially in higher ed! Join the Community College Engagement Task Force for a Virtual Event covering various topics regarding communication and a chance to network with other student ambassadors and staff from CIVSA member institutions.

Communicating through Barriers: Panel of students (and staff) who can talk about different language barrier situations or offer insight into what to do when communicating with someone where there is a language barrier.

Multicultural Communication: Covering different cultural communication do’s and don’ts (i.e. look at deaf person when speaking not interpreter, which cultures you should address the man and not the woman)
